Why?	The main goals of DemoCampEdmonton is to build connections in the Edmonton community.

Cam and the gang in Edmonton are hosting DemoCampEdmonton2. The first event was a huge success with 6 presentations and over 70 attendees. The Edmonton crew has done a great job embracing the core tenants of DemoCamp, “[o]ne of the main goals of DemoCamp is to build connections in the Edmonton community”. Events like DemoCamp and the upcoming BarCampEdmonton should help provide events and a call to action for people in the Edmonton area to come together, get excited and share what they’ve been working on.

DemoCamp

DemoCamp is a participant-generated social event for designers, developers, entrepreneurs. It is free. Participants sign up to demonstrate software they have been working on, or to give a presentation with the goal to inspire, educate or challenge the audience. Presentations and demos are 5 minutes in length.

DemoCampToronto is an event hosted by the TorCamp community. The first DemoCamp was held in December 2005, in February 2008 it was named Toronto's Best Unconference by blogTO
